Michico : So shock, last night I knew one of my cat friend- LittleMimi went to the rainbow bridge because of thrombus/seriously paralysis suddenly pass away, only 5 years old. I met him once at the beginning of 2008, his cute big body makes me have strong image in my mind, and so cute. Very shock, many cat friends are so hard to believe.

ReplyDeleteI am not sure if it is DVT (deep vein thrombosis) or similar which afflicted Little Mi. But I learnt from my vet that it is incurable and the cat actually suffers very badly during that period. It is kinder to let the pet go. This happened to my vet's pet cat as well and he was totally helpless and can only help her on her way to ease her pain.

ReplyDeleteWe are so sorry to hear about Little Mi. We are glad that he is out of pain and playing over the bridge, but are equally sorry for the pain his Mom is in. We will purr for her to be okay, and hopefully she will adopt another kitty in the near future, there are always plenty that need good homes and lots of love.

ReplyDeleteI am thinking now that he is with Caesar and they are together being good mancats. LittleMi will watch over his mom. She can put photos of LittleMi nearby and look at them often (we still do that here, mom has photos of Caesar next to her bed!)
I willpurrr for his mom too.
She should know that she is not alone in her sadness. we are here and loving her and helping her too!
