在元旦的時候，小芥又要上百岳了，所以，為了鍛鍊體力，請了小乖安排了一段小小的健走之旅，約了部分要一起元旦上百岳的夥伴們，我們去拜訪斯馬庫斯裡面的巨木爺爺們。I will do the another mountain climbing again at January 1st~4th 2009, so, I have to do the "physical training" since now. So, some of partners together, go to this place called "Smangus" to walk mountain road yesterday. There are many Giant trees in there.
司馬庫斯要入山其實沒有公共交通工具可以到達，開到新竹內灣之後，還要開兩到三個小時的車程才可以進入部落，真的是「世外桃源」。詳細的介紹可以點閱這裡。我們好不容易到達了這邊，然後開始進入登山口，走到巨木區域要5KM，回來也要走5KM。今天的特訓是10KM。Smangus is very far from the place I live, we drove and drove and drove, finally to the tribe. And started walking. From the start to the giant trees path, we need to walk 3.107miles, and also back needs 3.107 miles. It's not far, just the road is up and down up and down and lots of stones and water. But I think it will be easy.
一路上沒有很崎嶇的路面，路況是很好的，和在玉山上很不一樣，沒有討厭的之字路面。天氣涼爽，陽光也足夠，不時又有潺潺流水伴奏，讓走路的節奏十分輕快。The weather is windy and sunny, and there are streams around, the feeling was great.
整個山路裡面充滿了竹林，讓人喜愛不已，非常多又非常長一段的竹林好像進入了臥虎藏龍的拍攝場景。Lots of bamboos, very very tall.
當然也有需要注意安全的地方，不過天氣乾燥，無風無雨，注意一點就很安全。There are some dangerous spots,too. But it's ok. because the weather is very good.
我們走到了巨木林區，看見了可愛的大狗狗。And while we reached to the Giant trees path, we see very adorable big woofies.
這狗狗跟著主人一起運動，真好。狗狗就是要這樣多運動，挖哈。The woofies walked with beans I think that's perfect.
這麼樣長毛的狗，應該在山林中感覺到十分涼爽吧。Woofie with such long furs, I think it will be very comfy in this cooly mountain.
於是，我們就要探訪巨木們了。And, we started visiting these giant trees.
他有一個很簡易的巨木步道標示，讓你可以去看看巨木們，裡面有一尊最大的神木，有三千五百歲。Here is a very sample map to show where are the giant trees.
首先，大仔跟巨木1合照。First, Arion shot with a Giant tree.
巨木步道四周一直有淡淡的流水，十分令人感到沁涼愉快。There are also lots of streams near trees, you can feel very comfy.
看著這些大樹，忽然很感動，很久以前祂們並沒有被砍伐。Look at these big trees, I am very happy they doesn't be cut down before.
真的很大很大，我站在旁邊只是一個小不點。They are really really huge, I am only a tiny spot next to the tree.
每一個都聳入天際。Each one of them are reaching into the sky.
這是一個神木的「根」看看有多長多粗？This is a "roots", can you believe how thick it is?
我拍大家一起在「根」上面休息。Everybody sat on the roots.
好高好高的樹，巨木爺爺，我來看您了。Hello, Giant tree, here I come to see you.
大仔在任何一顆巨木旁邊，也是小小的。Arion also is a very tiny spot next to the tree.
這顆就是最大的三千五百歲的老爺。And this is the biggest tree of these giants, he is 3500 years old.
老像高舉著雙臂，感受著老天給他的這份福音。好像他為我們擎著天，給我們許多庇蔭。The giant tree like holding his arms into the sky.
很美很美。大家都跟老爺合影。終於有這份榮幸，可以看到老爺。It's very very big and hugh, this is Arion and his good friend shot with this master Giant tree.
有了這些溪水，讓整個徒步過程多了好多暢意的喜悅。I am so honored to be here.
太陽快要下山了，我們又匆匆的飆了5KM回到了登山口。結束了這次輕量級的體訊之旅。Because it's nearly sunset, so we walked 3.107miles back very very quickly to the start spot, to finished this physical training, because there are no light at the mountain path.
晚上，我們回到了內灣去吃飯。離開前，看到了一隻小阿丹貓。Night, I find out a very little tuxi cats next to a motorcycle, reminds me going home that Adan is missing me.
